ABOUT WEDDING PACKAGES OFFERED by BRIDAL HOUSE

http://beanpro57.webs.com

To all my client that got married lately:- Congratulations! And thank you for sharing information about BRIDAL HOUSE PACKAGES & PROMOTIONS.

So, I actually heard all these stories from my client and decided to share these information with my blog.

All these stories has a common content which is:- The Promotions that the bridal house given is not the same as what is written.

  1. The photos taken and will promise to call for first viewing in within 2 weeks became about 2 months to have the first viewing.

  2. Every item that promise to be given as free not given but have hidden charges in them. e.g.- hair do, amount of photos to be given as edited version, photographer and videographer on actual wedding day for free service and etc...

  3. The photo frame that they promised has no stock at very last minute. Hmm!

  4. The gown they promised to rent to you for your actual day during photo shoot but telling you that is taken by a better package bride... and left a out dated gown for you just because you are having a promotion package.

  5. Photos slide edited with full of unwanted templates which you don't like at all but refused to reedited another one. Telling you that they would do it, but give you at last minute so you can only find out that they didn't redo for you.

  6. Promised to have 4 hair style during pre-wedding photo shoot however, after finished everything then give you a bill for charging extra hair do during the session.

  7. Free photographer and videographer for you at actual wedding day, but tell you that they are charging RM1,800.00 only for you have taken their package. You have no choice but to take it because you don't have time to hire anymore. ( where you can get at RM 1,600.00 market price)

Well, all the above is what I have heard lately.

I would strongly advice, if they ever give any extra services and promotions please use your handphone to record what they promised and make them give you a black and white contract on that , then only you are secure. Even better if you have a video cam or handphone to record the visual with sound.

Luckily, they haven't start to give any free entertainment packages yet. If they do, please consider whether that would be true and also refer to my topic: Do not except free musician from venue provider. Till then, Adios amigos and amigas.

Coming up next, more about musicians having a hard time with........

about choosing the right singer/musicians & type of music for your wedding dinner entertainment

http://benpsound.webs.com

Being in this line- as entertainer at wedding dinners, I have seen a lot of different scenario that will either lead to a memorable wedding or the other way round.

Hereby I would like to share some tips that might be useful to brides and grooms to be. Of course, I first like to share about tips to hire musicians and singers at your wedding reception. Why? Hee hee, so you will be my client soon.

In music industry, there are different catagory of musicians. They are, a) Interractive band with all types of music ( like us ), b) Chinese Orchestra, c) Jazz band, d) String Quartet, e) top 40's band,f) Unplugged style and some other style that is less common.

First of all, please find out the terms of music category because if you don't understand the term you might end up hiring the type of band that's  not suitable for your wedding.

Secondly, you can ask the musicians you wanted to hire to give you a list of songs so you will know roughly what songs you will expect from them. ( like i always do )

Thirdly, if you felt they are suitable, then you can arrange a meeting with them at a coffee parlour or at their office(if the band is under an agent, wedding planner, event management you will only have a chance to look at their profile /song list/photo &video, therefore you won't be able to know the personality of your musician). But if it's a direct source(singers/musicians) then you'll have a clear picture of the band ( base on punctuality of meeting, whether he or she is a joyful person and etc...)

If everything passed, Congratulation you've got yourself a band for your wedding reception.

WALLA......

CHECKLIST ON WEDDING DAY

Check Logistic On Your Big Day

Good evening ladies and gentlemen....Opps! Hi hi again! Was just practicing part of my speech for the coming event!

Well, today I'll like to talk more on logistic problem. Such as, when you arrived at the ballroom/restaurant and found out the items and set up actually not up to your expectation.

Do prepare a check list for your friend/cousin that can help you up on this matter,or of course hire me to be your care taker ( hee hee again to have a little bit of my own advertisement ).

There are a few things to prepare on your check list:

  1. Check the color that the agreed items such as: the color of the table cloth and chair cloth that has agreed earlier.

  2. Next check is the back drop whether they have the correct spelling and sometimes some venue even mixed up on which couple on which ballroom/section of the restaurant.

  3. This point now is very important for I have come across this matter myself: Check the stage panel whether is stable and including the stair steps in front of the stage. Once I was doing this function where I was advised by the hotel staff not to dance on the panel where they are having the champaign tower. Asking them why? And got the answer from them that the panel is unstable. Being not very experience on handling logistic that time, I just asked why they don't want to change that particular panel and got the answer” aiyah! Kak tukar panel leceh la. Jangan menari di situ saja” (Translation:” aiyah! Sis changing the panel is troublesome. Just don't dance on that panel.) They ignore and you know what happened? When the couple pouring champaign nothing happened but when the staff served the champaign... huh huh! The panel shaken and down the whole tower shattered! Oh god!

  4. Coming up is to check on the red carpet for the couple walk-in aisle. I myself, always tripped by those not properly stuck carpet. Please get them to stick the carpet properly for I don't like anything to happened during the couple walk-in that is the most important moment of the whole evening.

Well, those are the big tips for you, Of course there are some minor ones that you can think of. So, try to get your head spin first, but, if you have any question, Any is here to help: just visit :http://beanpro57.blogspot.com and join my forum. Bye and see you soon.
